0

The Curry 12 officially launches globally today in the ‘Gravity’ colourway. After several limited releases, Curry Brand has now made the Curry 12 available worldwide. This marks the 12th iteration of Stephen Curry’s signature shoe. The Curry 12 made its on-court debut earlier this year. It propelled Stephen to yet another remarkable basketball achievements while inspiring hoopers around the globe.

Building on the bold and daring design of the Curry 11. The Curry 12 takes a leap further into the future. Featuring an elevated style to enhance performance, precision in movement, and comfort for today’s elite players. Following the success of the Red, White and Blue and ‘Curry Tour’ colourways.

The Curry 12 is now embarking on a new journey, with rich colourways and stories. Inspired by the mysteries of the galaxy and the phenomena of Stephen’s game. Each upcoming Curry 12 colourway will explore a unique aspect of outer space while paying tribute to one of Stephen’s many on-court personas.

The first in the Curry 12 ‘galaxy’ to debut is the ‘Gravity’ colourway. Inspired by the gravitational force that surrounds Stephen on the court. To illustrate this invisible force, the Curry 12 ‘Gravity’ features a clean, light grey upper with touches of green and black on the TPU sidewall. It is designed to mimic particles floating through space. With an outsole and midsole built with UA Flow technology, the Curry 12 ‘Gravity’ offers a strong foundation for players seeking both comfort and superior traction. The combination of UA Flow and a second segmented Pebax plate in the forefoot enhances flexibility. This improves court feel and enabling players to stop and cut with precision.

John Wick: Ballerina Official Trailer

0

Get ready to dive back into the world of John Wick. After 4 killer movies and a TV series, we are back with a spin-off movies starring Ana De Armas as Rooney, a ballerina-slash-assassin hunting down the people who murdered her family. The film also stars Gabriel Byrne, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Norman Reedus, and Lance Reddick in his final on-screen appearance. Additionally, John Wick stars Ian McShane and Keanu Reeves will be reprising their roles for Ballerina.

The Ballerina story was first teased in the third John Wick installment, so it makes sense that this spinoff is taking place after that movie. That also allows Reeves to reprise his role, as he his character was seemingly killed at the end of Chapter 4.

While Ballerina was originally set to hit theaters this year, Lionsgate pushed it to 2025 in order to film some additional reshoots that added more action to the movie. John Wick director Chad Stahelski, who now oversees the entire franchise, came alongside Wiseman to helm these new action sequences.

“All we did in those reshoots had to be there,” de Armas told Collider. “We got amazing footage. It’s really spectacular. A trailer is coming out soon, I’ve been told. I saw it, and it’s beautiful. I’m very proud of it. It’s really exciting. It’s dangerous, it’s sexy, it’s very John Wick. I think people are going to be surprised. I’m biased. Of course, I like the movie, but I think it’s really cool. It’s going to be amazing.”

John Wick Ballerina

Ballerina is set to hit theaters on June 6, 2025.

Thunderbolts* Official Teaser Trailer

0

Well Marvel fans, its been a minute between movies. 2025 is shaping up to be a good one for Marvel Studios once again after pulling back on their releases and working on the movies/TV more in-depth given the recent success of Deadpool & Wolverine.

This time, we assemble what’s been dubbed the “anti-avengers” but this trailer makes it a point to let the viewer know that this is not the Avengers.

We have some familiar faces making a comeback for this one including Yelena Belova from Black Widow & Hawkeye (Florence Pugh), Red Guardian from Black Widow (David Harbour), John Walker aka US Agent from The Falcon & Winter Solider series (Wyatt Russell), Ghost from Ant-Man & The Wasp (Hannah John-Kamen), Taskmaster from Black Widow (Olga Kurylenko), Bucky Barnes aka Winter Solider (Sebastian Stan), Valentina Allegra de Fontaine from Black Widow and The Falcon & Winter Solider (Julia Louis-Dreyfus).

Included in the trailer was a new character known as Bob (Lewis Pullman) which is heavily rumored to be Sentry from the Marvel Comics. Sentry for those who don’t know is Marvel’s answer to Superman.

While the trailer doesn’t give too much away in terms of a storyline and plot, it shows us bringing these characters together for some reason.

One funny thing to come out of the trailer was Bucky using a dishwasher to keep his arm clean. When asked about Bucky using his dishwasher to clean his vibranium arm, Stan joked that its “efficient.”

“One has to at some point make sure that things do get clean, and so that’s a very efficient way of doing it fast,” Stan joked. “He uses a lot less water too, a lot less water in the dishwasher.”

The only other major talking point from this is the notable asterisk at the end of the title. MCU’s Kevin Feige was asked about this back at CinemaCon earlier this year and his answer was quite simple “That is the official title of Thunderbolts* and we won’t talk more about that until after the movie comes out.”

Thunderbolts* is due to hit cinemas on the 2nd May 2025
