Fresh from the new Under Armour design team, the new Under Armour Echo in ‘white/black’ delivers serious performance and undeniable street appeal. Built for the next generation of athletes and streetwear lovers alike, this pair blends innovation with everyday style.
To begin with, the multi-layered monofilament mesh upper brings structure and breathability, while an asymmetrical speed-lace system with a bungee cord locks you in—fast. Step into comfort thanks to UA’s HOVR cushioning, engineered for maximum energy return and long-lasting wear.
Moreover, the UA Slip Speed heel tech takes it next level. The collapsible neoprene heel transforms it from training mode to chill recovery mode in seconds—versatility at its best.
Also, I love the UA logo integrated into the welded structure on the toebox. It flows perfectly into the mesh upper and adds a sleek, modern finish.
If this is what we can expect from Under Armour’s new design leadership—sign me up. The tech-meets-street vibe of the Echo is right on point.
Fit tip: Runs true to size, but wide footers should go half a size up.
Originally built for the hardwood in the 70s, the CONVERSE One Star 95 made a name for itself in the 90s—dominating skate spots and concert stages alike. Fast forward to today, it’s back. And better.
This retro legend stays true to its roots, but gets some serious upgrades. First off, a thicker midsole and higher foxing tape give it that chunky, vintage vibe. It also has a gusseted tongue, for a more secure fit or if and when you decide to wear your laces loose. A thin but plush leather collar for a more comfortable feel on the ankles. Paired with plush premium green suede, the upper feels just as good as it looks.
Slide in and you’ll feel the difference—thanks to a CX Foam and neonprene insole setup. It’s noticeably comfier, whether you’re skating or just flexing on the daily.
Styling-wise? It’s a no-brainer. The CONVERSE One Star 95 balances old-school edge with everyday wearability. Perfect daily beaters with real attitude.
Fit-wise, they run a bit big for me—I’d recommend going half to a full size down for the best fit.

The Jordan 4 Retro SB ‘Navy’ drops in with a familiar and versatile colour way. Effortlessly blends skate functionality with Jordan heritage.
Drenched in midnight navy, sail, and neutral grey tones, this pair delivers a clean aesthetic that pops on and off the skateparks. Like the Jordan 4 Retro SB Pine Green, the Navy edition features the same SB-enhanced tweaks: a thinner tongue, a premium feeling leather uppers, redesigned soft heel tab, and a reformulated foam in the forefoot for a more responsive ride.
Meanwhile, the red air unit and the forefoot and heel gum soles returns. One really subtle difference is that the off white cream uppers of the OG Pine Greens has been replaced with a more whiter leather uppers on the Navys. The white uppers is more evident when placed right next to the recently Jordan 4 Military Blues, which sports a more greyish upper.
Overall, if you missed out on the Pine Greens and want a more comfortable ride than the Military Blues, then the Jordan 4 Retro SB ‘Navy’ is a solid cop.
My personal hot take: the Navy pair is way more versatile when it comes to fits.
These kicks are a solid choice not just for collectors, but for skaters who want that retro-meets-performance balance.

This is the 361° Joker 1 GT Low in the ‘Joker’ colorway. Offering a fresh take on the original mid-cut design. This version come in the eye-catching purple and green hues. Paying homage to the iconic character. The low-cut model introduces notable differences in performance and feel.
Design and Fit
The low-cut silhouette enhances ankle mobility, appealing to players who prioritize agility. Similar to the mid cut, these kicks also feature high-quality leather and synthetic materials that conform well to the foot, ensuring a comfortable fit. However, some ballers have found the low-cut version offering a more natural range of motion.
Cushioning and Support
The Joker 1 GT utilizes 361°’s CQTEXTREM3Technology, delivering a more responsive and plush cushioning. The midsole setup balances impact protection and court feel effectively. While the QU!KBONE carbon fiber shank plate emphasizes support and quick energy return snap backs. The low-cut focuses on freedom of movement without compromising on comfort.
Traction and Durability
Equipped with a new translucent RPU durable rubber outsoles that provides reliable traction on various court surfaces. The tread Serbian symbol patterns still ensures a solid grip, enhancing performance during quick cuts and pivots.
Conclusion
If you value enhanced ankle mobility and a lightweight feel, the low-cut is ideal with its wrap around booty tongue. The Joker colorway stands out with a really cool graffiti inspired Joker logo on the medial sides. These extra lace holes on the ankle area gives the Joker 1 GT another casual look. Out of the box the 361° Joker 1 GT provides a striking design with performance features, catering to diverse playing styles.
Retailing at $307 AUD, they are now available at 361sport.com. They run snug true-to-size narrow. Wide footers may need to go half a size up.
The latest collaboration between ASICS and OTTO 958 is here! Meet the ASICS Protoblast-CMLVIII, a reimagined version of the classic silhouette. The “CMLVIII” represents 958 in Roman numerals, tying back to OTTO 958—an experimental project by longtime ASICS collaborator Kiko Kostadinov and Al Moran, founder of the International Art Gallery Morán Morán.
Lightweight Comfort & Heritage Inspiration
Right out of the box, the FF Blast midsole makes these feel incredibly light. Despite its chunky appearance, the midsole is ultra-comfortable and responsive. The upper design draws inspiration from three heritage Asics models: Gel 100, GelBurst, and Gel Hoop 6.
A Unique Design Without the Tiger Stripes
One major change? No ASICS Tiger Stripes. Instead, you’ll find OTTO 958 branding stitched in brown, alongside a tan lace encased in a plastic tube running along the medial and lateral sides. The upper consists of brown mesh and synthetic leather, though the leather looks so premium that it’s hard to tell it’s synthetic. ASICS truly pulled this off, it’s such a big win for them!
Finishing Touches & Fit
A distinct tan Otto “O” logo sits on the toebox, while Asics branding appears on the tongue, heel, insoles, and sole. Unique gill-like fast lace loops hold the tan dotted rope lace, complemented by pull tabs on the tongue and heel.
At first glance, this collab looks like a premium low-cut basketball sneaker. But look closer, and you’ll notice Asics’ heritage panels blended with Kiko’s signature design language. They fit true to size but have a narrow toe box, so wide-footers should go half a size up.
Retailing at $330 AUD, the ASICS x Otto 958 Protoblast-CMLVIII is available now at asics.com.au.
