It feels like forever since we got the first look at 24th film in the MCU “Black Widow” back in December 2019. Since COVID-19 popped up in the world, the movie has been pushed back quite a few times due to the uncertainly around when the cinemas will re-open in the USA.
A couple of weeks, we finally got a confirmation as to what was happening with Black Widow and its release. Fans have been calling for it to be put onto Disney Plus under the Premier Access fee which has seen Mulan & Raya And The Last Dragon go down a similar path. And now, it appears the fans have won!
Black Widow will release on Disney Plus and in cinemas worldwide on the 9th July 2021. With Disney Plus, you will need to pay extra to watch it. There will be a $30 rental fee charge under their Premier Access. With the announcement of the date, we got to see another trailer for the movie and our first good look at the villain in the movie “Taskmaster”
The movie is set after Captain America: Civil War, where Nastasha Romanoff is on the run, finds herself alone and forced to confront a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Romanoff must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.
Let us know what you think of the new trailer. Will you pay the extra access to watch it on Disney Plus or will you head to the cinemas to see it?
