The birth of XLARGE laid the foundation for the current street scene, it dates back to 1991. XLARGE was founded by Eli Bonerz and Adam Silverman. The XLARGE store had a collection of workwear and sneakers, and at that time, it was ahead of the modern boutique with an innovative product structure. It was by strengthening the connection with the land pattern of Los Angeles, skating and the music scene, a unique street culture was born centered on XLARGE. The addition of Mike D from the Beastie Boys also made the movement even bigger and increased it’s worldwide presence.

XLARGE was born as the original brand of the shop which fuses cultures such as music, art and skateboarding from a unique viewpoint of “expressing practical wear as fashion, not everyday wear”. Established in an instant as a pioneer of street culture.

XLARGE brand till this day continues to capture the hearts of young people through street culture. XLARGE is pleased to announce the first collaboration with Mizuno, which has been promoting sports with athletes.

In this collaboration, the ‘Court Select’ model was used. From the vast amount of sports shoes developed by Mizuno for athletes of various competitions, the ‘Court Select’ model was developed as volleyball shoes at the time of 1993-94 was sublimated to street wear specifications.

The upper has become a street item reminiscent of an old school that boldly combines natural suede and mesh. In addition to the cushioning and stability of the competition shoes, the XLARGE color essence has been added.
