Inspired by the NBA All-Star and new Creative Director of Converse Basketball, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, we proudly present the Shai Weapon!

These limited-edition sneakers arrive in a stunning pink Converse box with a matching dust bag. The official colorway, Vintage White/Winsome Orchid, features premium white leather uppers, meticulously recreated stitch by stitch and panel by panel to honor the OG Weapons, the iconic shoes made famous by Bird and Magic in 1986. Metallic pink crinkled leather accents the Chevron logo and heel, adding a vintage vibe that’s further enhanced by the exposed yellow foam on the nylon tongue and the pre-yellowed classic Weapon soles.

While the Shai Weapons boast an original look, the interior has been upgraded for superior comfort. The soles now feature reformulated CX Foam and thickly padded insoles, ensuring maximum support. Additionally, garters on the sides of the tongue keep it securely in place, even when worn with loose laces. Out of the box, the sneakers come with off-white fat laces, but classic flat laces are also included for those who prefer an OG look.

Overall, the Shai Weapons stand out with their crinkled metallic pink leather, exposed foam tongue, and pre-yellowed soles. This evokes the feeling of a recently discovered vintage sneaker. They offer exceptional step-in comfort, and the two lace options provide versatile street styling.

With Shai Gilgeous-Alexander leading Converse Basketball and releases like the Shai Weapons, it’s an exciting time to be a fan of the brand! Can’t wait to see what they release next!

These sneakers fit true to size, but wide-footed wearers should consider going half a size up. Priced at $200 AUD, the Shai Weapons are now available at converse.com.au.
