Nintendo hasn’t stopped with the surprise announcements from its latest Direct presentation. A new, 3D remake of the Game Boy classic The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening which will be out on Switch later this year. This is announcement cannot come at a better time to cement Nintendo strong release calendar as Link’s Awakening is ONE of the best Zelda games that’s ever to be made. With Nintendo not providing much information at this stage but a very fluid trailer to show off the remake, where we get to see the GameBoy graphics remade in vibrant, colorful, and amazing looking 3D style keeping the feel the same but bringing it into this generation. I know we are excited but plenty of people out there who haven’t played this hit from the early 90’s will be sure to pick this up later this year.

John Ellioit x Lexus reveals AIR FORCE 1 inspired car tyres at NYFW show
Though there were a lot of eye catching pieces at John Elliot‘s New York Fashion Show, one of the main spectacles was not on the feet of his models but on the feet of Lexus‘s new UX Model car. Yup that’s right, a car wearing Air Force 1s.
Lexus unveiled their new collaboration with John Elliot by creating tyres inspired by Air Force 1 Sneakers. The design was very similar to the actual Air Force 1 Sneakers for people’s feet that he designed back in Oct 2018. They were inspired by the concept of colours changing through shadows. Now the same design was transferred over to these car creps.
The all white wheel cover has intricate Nike detailing and is a hypebeasts dream tyre. These aren’t on sale but who knows, this could spark the imagination of tyre companies collaborating with Brands. Supreme tyres perhaps?

10th Annual Saint Side Show & Shine
Held once annually on the first weekend of February, the John Street Show & Shine is a celebration of custom bicycles spanning a 100-metre strip mall in the Melbourne suburb of St Albans. Also including a car show focusing on the best of Americana, west coast, custom and vintage lifestyles, the event is a truly unique and well-loved day in the west.
Being the 10th and possible final event to be held in John Street, the crew at Saint Side wanted to ensure it was going to be something special. They decided to go with a ten pin bowling theme this year. So they turned to one of their good mates who custom built a 11 metre long bowling alley which was setup right down the middle of John Street.
With some killer cars and some awesome built lowrider bicycles on display, the stage was set. The weather also brought some killer heat with the day topping out at 39 degrees it was going to be one long day. The crowds began rolling in early to ensure they could pick up some exclusive merchandise available through Saint Side.
Plenty of vendors out in force to ensure everyone was fed, hydrated and able to pick up some collectables as well. Some of the vendors that were supporting the event were 23 John Street cafe, Mean Muggin Studios, Lil Rollerz, St Burgs Food Truck, Drift Cadet, Nulon, Angel Grove Toys & Collectables, Jim Brown Cypriot Food Truck & Hangin With The Homies
Overall the day has always been a huge success and has always been growing and growing. Unfortunately we are hearing rumours this could be the last one however due to council issues moving forward and the show has outgrown the area. We hope that the crew at Saint Side can organise their annual show each year as its always a fun day out and we highly recommend attending if you’re in Melbourne.

Following last years festivities with Jordan Kilganon crashing the Prahran Summer Jam, the crew have stepped it up again and have Guy Dupuy all the way from Paris, France making his presence felt on Melbourne’s hallowed court!
But not to be outdone, the 2016 Slam Dunk Champion Brodie Stephens is coming back to town to reclaim his throne 👑

Bella Hadid showcasing Kith x Versace’s Collaboration Collection
Not that Kith and Versace needed anymore attention, but they decided to let super model Bella Hadid drape their luxurious garments over her to promote their next collaboration. Ronnie Fieg‘s KITH brand has contributed to many superb collaborations throughout the years and his next one busts out with High Class house of Versace.
There will be a men’s and women’s line coming up with over 100 styles on offer. Using exquisite materials such as silk, satin, velour and all coming custom made from Italy.
One of the key items to be featured is the footwear being served such as the Amico Trainer for men and women in many different iconic colourways.
The Kith x Versace collaborative launch is set for Friday 15th Febuary. Available at all Kith Stores and online 11am EST. Selected Versace Stores will have availability.
