G-SHOCK introduces an all-new collaboration model with PORTER, a Japanese bag brand, to commemorate the 85th anniversary of fashion company Yoshida & Co. Based on the quintessential G-SHOCK GM-5600, the collaboration model comes with 2 types of bands featuring the PORTER logo – a fabric band made of materials featured extensively in Yoshida & Co. products, and a standard black resin band.

Yoshida & Co. owns the brands PORTER and LUGGAGE LABEL. While many manufacturers
abandon Japan and establish production facilities overseas, Yoshida & Co. has been an advocate of maintaining domestic production. Its philosophy and Japan-oriented products helped it gain a high level of popularity over the years.
The case back is highlighted with an orange accent, the signature colour of the PORTER brand bags. On the back of the case, the established year of Yoshida & Co. and the PORTER logo are engraved to emphasize their 85 years of establishment. The PORTER logo will also appear when the EL backlight is lit. Finally, the matte, metal bezel and case with a hairline finish give the watch a military look.
In terms of functions, the watch is equipped with a multi-function alarm with buzzer sound,
stopwatch and countdown timer.
The global launch of the PORTER x G-SHOCK GM-5600 collaboration watch will be from 27 January 2021.
