“I just love Air Maxes. They have been an iconic sneaker in my life since I can remember.
Air Maxes has always been my goto sneakers since I was a toddler. From my parents dressing me up in them and to me wanting to be like the older cooler kids. I grew up in the inner west of Sydney where air maxes where the choice of footwear, specially the Air Max Plus (better known as TNS). We weren’t poor growing up, but weren’t able to have the latest sneakers at the same time. I have 5 brothers and 1 sister, but as soon as your birthday would come around, you know what the first pick would be.
I was annoyed of having all these sneakers in boxes that I couldn’t show off. So I decided to turn our garage into a sneaker/creative room where I can design, draw, relax with mates and just have something to share with people that love Air Maxes as much as I do.
I was inspired to do something cool for Air Max day.
I had a lot more cool sneakers than the previous year and now had a cool room to boot so I thought of making a little shoebox castle for my son.
Just wanted to do something a little different from your usual sneaker shots.
I wanted to capture a special moment that me and my son could look back on for years to come.”
