LEGO and Adidas have launched yet another teaser of their upcoming collaboration – a ZX-8000 sneaker under Adidas’s new A-ZX project which sees Adidas celebrate the heritage of their ZX silhouette, Part of the Adidas A-ZX series which is seeing 26 classic designs, we doubt it will be too long before we get some more information on them.
The A-ZX series was first announced in early August and the list of collaborators – including companies and creators – has been slowly revealed and includes team-ups with football team Juventus, the National Park Foundation and sneaker boutique Atmos.
Cue jokes about the suitable footwear to step on LEGO…
Here are some close up photos of the collab
The branded shoes also might come in a themed box. That’s certainly the suggestion when the shoes were announced in a stop-motion video which is cool but reveals no details. The Lego x Adidas ZX 8000 sneaker was initially pegged for a late September or early October release, but the date printed on the box seen in the video suggests that the shoe could arrive on Sept. 25. As of now, the release details surrounding the collab have yet to be confirmed by the brands, but stay tuned.
