Mizuno joins forces with Singapore’s own SBTG for the first time, delivering a bone clad collaborative capsule anchored by a bold reinterpretation of the Wave Rider 10. The collaboration is now available, bringing together Mizuno’s performance heritage with SBTG’s raw, rebellious design language.

Inspired by late 80s and early 90s punk and skate culture, SBTG brings his signature “Bones” aesthetic to the Wave Rider 10, infusing the silhouette with the spirit of underground zines, street ramps, and DIY defiance. The shoe strikes a powerful balance, gritty hand crafted details layered over Mizuno’s smooth performance architecture. From a distance it carries a rugged, almost militaristic stance, but up close the artistry unfolds with intricate stencil work, camo textures, and deconstructed elements that honour SBTG’s legacy in custom sneaker culture.

The Wave Rider 10 itself has deep roots. First released in 2007 to mark a decade of the Wave Rider series, it was created by designer Tuan Lee for neutral runners who wanted cushioning without losing responsiveness. Beneath the premium suede and retro styling sits Mizuno’s signature thermoplastic Wave Technology insert, a performance driven innovation that blends stability, energy return, and smooth transition in every step.

Mizuno’s story stretches back even further. Founded in 1906 in Osaka by brothers Rihachi and Rizo, the brand grew from a love of Western sport into a global leader in running, tennis, golf, football, and more. Across every era, Mizuno has stayed committed to progressive design, performance innovation, and continually improving its sustainability and craftsmanship standards.

On the other side of this collaboration is SBTG, Mr. Sabotage, a globally recognized sneaker artist known for military inspired storytelling, hand painted precision, and a deep connection to skate and punk culture. Rising to prominence in the early 2000s, his collaborations with Nike, ASICS, Puma, G-Shock and others have cemented him as a defining figure in sneaker art. His trademark camo patterns, stencil typography, and deconstructed motifs reflect a mindset driven by rebellion, independence, and craft.

The SBTG x Mizuno Wave Rider 10 “Bones” captures that collision of worlds where performance meets attitude, legacy meets disruption, and design meets defiance. The SBTG x Mizuno Wave Rider 10 “Bones” is now available, delivering one of the most exciting blends of craft, culture, and chaos to hit the sneaker scene.
