Our first look at the DualSense PlayStation wireless controller from the latest announcement from SONY.
The vision and goal for the new controller is to interact and captivate more of your senses as you play and indulge yourself in the virtual worlds of the latest PS5 games.
The features of DualSense, along with PS5’s Tempest 3D AudioTech, will deliver a new feeling of immersion to players including Haptic Touch, touchpad, adaptive triggers, new share button, built-in mic to chat without a headset and USB-C charging just to name a few.

A lot of sneaker brands have turned their sights to combating the virus. Instead of sneakers they’re making personal protection equipment. Nike the innovative organisation it is, have jumped on the trend and have developed a new Face Shield to help the front liners of the battle for the coronavirus.
components such as Sneaker collar padding, apparel and TPU from Nike Air sneaker soles have all been repurposed to become elements of the face shield.
Health Care workers at OHSU (Oregan Health & Science University) were the instant testers for the new hardware to see how applicable they are to be used in the proper environment
The aim of the project was to provide highly functional that was easy to manufacture equipment and made the most impact.
Though they’re meant for health workers, it wouldn’t be a surprise if people starting wearing the Nike Protective equipment to flex on their socials.
The Sacai LDV waffle is of course on a lot of sneakerhead’s list of “must-cop” pairs, and my best friend was the one to let me know about how many raffles were going on for the nylon version. Of course, I decided “why not roll the dice?” and I entered about 3 or 4 raffles including one from Supply Store and that’s where I copped my win. I hadn’t won a raffle in quite a while and was very happy when I received an email saying my name had been drawn for the white pair (which was my favourite of the two nylon versions).
The Laces
After I got the confirmation email from Supply Store saying my pair was on the way, I went over to YouTube to see what I could expect. After checking out a lot of early in-hand reviews of the sneaker, I knew the stock ribbon and thin ropes were not for me. I love sneakers that have a pop or accent of colour, and I knew with a neutral base like the nylon has, a lace swap was essential. I was inspired by the lace swap on the cream Ultra Boosts that was really popular a few years back as well as the Diadora N9000 “Copitos” and the Travis Scott AJ1 Highs which, in my opinion, look the best with the pink lace swap.
I dug around in my collection of spare laces and found the pink laces from LaceSpace sitting in the bag, and it was the perfect shade that I needed.

Looks like Netflix is ramping up their movie releases while the majority of the world is on lockdown or working from home due to Covid-19. And this new one from Netflix looks like an absolute banger!
Extraction stars Chris Hemsworth as Tyler Rake, a mecenary on his mission to rescue the kidnapped son of an imprisoned international crime lord. The synopsis reads: “In an underworld of weapons dealers and traffickers, a young boy becomes the pawn in a war between notorious drug lords. Trapped by kidnappers inside one of the world’s most impenetrable cities, his rescue beckons the unparalleled skill of a mercenary named Tyler Rake, but Rake is a broken man with nothing to lose, harbouring a death wish that makes an already deadly mission near impossible.”
Hemsworth is teaming up once again with Joe & Anthony Russo (Avengers: Infinity War & Avengers: Endgame) who wrote the screenplay and are serving as producers on this one, where as Sam Hargrave steps into the directors chair for the first time for a major movie. Fun fact, Hargrave served as Chris Evans’ stunt double as Captain America in the MCU.

Mizuno Japan is back with a new mita sneakers Mizuno “MTXIX” Collaboration. This silhouette was first released in 1995 as the third series of the Mondo line, which represented as a performance running sneaker for the Mizuno brand.
Fast forward to 2020, Mizuno Japan and mita sneakers collaborate once again with Japan’s leading baseball player, Masahiro Tanaka. Tanaka is also a pitcher for the New York Yankees.
“MTXIX” refers to Masahiro Tanaka’s “M” and “T” initials, which is Tanaka’s number 19.

The “MTXIX” sneaker features black uppers which are made up of a series of mesh, leather and rubber materials. This offers a comfortable form-fitting build while enhancing support and durability. The sneakers has a soft neoprene tongue, complemented by tonal laces and black leather eyelet panels. Mizuno branding is placed at the lateral sides of the forefoot and breathable mesh fabrics at the toebox.
The insole has the official Mizuno and mita sneakers ‘MS’ logo and below the logos is the sneaker’s nickname “MTXIX” printed in the same colours as the ‘Runbird’ feature below. The insole was specially designed by Shigeyuki Kunii.
An awesome feature that Mizuno has added to this sneaker is the velcro-lined side stripes that allow the wearer to alternate between black, purple, yellow, red and pink colored Mizuno ‘Runbird’ logos.
Final touch on the heel is a embroidered image of Masahiro Tanaka on the right and “MTXIX” on the left.
Release date will be on the 25th of April. Sizes available will be from 23cm (US5) to 30cm (US12). Priced at ¥21,000 (excluding tax) and will be available only online at mita sneakers and Mizuno Japan.
What started as a rival for Grand Theft Auto, the Saints Row series eventually found its identity as a self-aware and more humorous take on the AAA open world game. Saints Row 3 was a balanced over the top & zany action with more grounded narrative about the titular gang becoming a franchise then its weirder sequel Saints Row 4.
Now, Volition & Deep Silver are revisiting Saints Row: The Third and remastered the game to hit PC, PS4 & Xbox One on May 22nd 2020.
Saints Row: The Third Remastered is shaping up to be a solid revisit for one of the series’ finest games. And judging from the footage we saw, it looks to be keeping up with the series’ penchant for open-world thrills and hijinks, all fueled by a killer soundtrack–which will remain intact for the new release.

Just when you think 2020 couldnt get any worse off, it does. Unfortunately with the Covid-19 situation still taking its toll on the world, Marvel Studios came out over the past few days and announced it would adjust all of the Phase 4 Movies release dates.
Before this was announced, it was confirmed that the upcoming Black Widow movie was pushed back from its original May release date until later this year. There was no date of release until now. Marvel has shuffled all 5 of its movies around due to the delay.
As it stands of now, Black Widow will hit cinemas on Nov 6th 2020 which was the original release date for The Eternals. As a result of this, The Eternals has been pushed to Febuary 12 2021, Shang-Chi & The Legend Of The Ten Rings to May 7th 2021, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (Doctor Strange 2) to November 5th 2021 & Thor: Love & Thunder to Febuary 18th 2022.
The adjustment in the movies also brought about the announcement of Captain Marvel 2 which is due to hit cineams on July 8th 2022.
There is no official word on the upcoming Marvel series which are being produced for Disney + (Falcon & Winter Solider, Wandavision & Loki) as to if they have been delayed from their original air dates as these will tie into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Fast forward to 2069. What happens to the world then?
G-SHOCK Singapore has partnered with local contemporary artist, Jahan Loh to create an animated video that takes us to a future era of 2069 and how he would have perceived the state of the world.
Climate change has been the buzzword in recent years and come 2069, the world might be in dire straits should there be inadequate efforts by all to deal with the impending world crisis.
Coined “There is No Planet B”, this video is an extension of Jahan’s latest art series titled “Intergalactic Dreams” and it is a strong resonance of the adverse effects that climate change has on mankind. Jahan envisions that in the future, resources on planet earth can no longer sustain mankind and space reconnaissance troopers are dispatched to explore alternative suitable planets to inhabit.
In the video, the muse spaceman is on Planet M30 in the Sagittarius Dwarf Spherodical Galaxy- 70,000 light years from Planet Earth and he is seen trying to get back to his ship. On his wrist is the new metal-forged G-SHOCK GM-6900.

The New Metal-Forged GM-6900 This year marks the 25th anniversary of the iconic G-SHOCK DW-6900-1V, which was first released in February 1995. To commemorate this special occasion, Casio has decided to add new members to the G-SHOCK family called the GM-6900 series and featuring all-new metal bezels.
The three new GM-6900 models enshrine the hallmarks of G-SHOCK’s toughness in the all new metal bezel. The 6900 bezel bears the iconic shape of the original DW-6900 but this time, the new GM-6900 has upped the toughness ante with button guards. After a shaping process that involves approximately 20 forging stages and several cutting and polishing steps, each piece is carefully finished to achieve the characteristic 6900 bezel in metal.
The two models with black bands provide a choice of silver or gold bezels, while the red translucent band model features a black bezel. Shiny mirror and matte hairline finishes are combined in a bold bezel shape.
Thats right, its been confirmed overnight that LaMelo Ball has swooped in and bought the Illawarra Hawks in the NBL and saved them.
LaMelo Ball played 12 games for the Hawks during the 2019-2020 NBL Season before departing very quickly while on the injury list. Currently, Ball is in California preparing for the NBA 2020 Draft in which it is expected he will go Top 5.
The Illawarra Mercury first reported on Thursday 2nd April that Ball & his manager Jermaine Jackson were in talks to buy a significant stake of the Hawks, however overnight, Jackson has come out and confirmed with ESPN that they do indeed own the team and its a done deal.
The news comes as good relief for the Hawks fans just after two days in which the team was forced to stand staff down due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation.

Great news NBA fans. Looks like the new Michael Jordan Documentary “The Last Dance” is getting released sooner due to the Covid-19 situation the world is facing.
With most of us all on lockdown, there is plenty of time for catching up on TV Shows, Movies and other things around the house. “The Last Dance”, a 10 part documentary series that chronicles Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls’ dynasty is going to air from April 20th on Netflix here in Australia. If you’re in the US, this will be aired on ESPN from the 19th April.
