One of the most popular video game franchises of the past 20 years is finally getting the live-action treatment it has long deserved. Amazon have partnered with Westworld creators Jonathan Nolan & Lisa Joy to develop a series based on the Fallout video game franchise. Fans of the series have been waiting for sometime to hear this and it has been officially confirmed.
There is no release date set for the Fallout series, however Variety magazine has shared some details about what fans can expect when it arrives. They have said its hoping to bring “the harshness of the wasteland set against the previous generation’s utopian idea of a better world through nuclear energy” on top of this adding in some “moments of ironic humor & B-movie-nuclear-fantasies”
The Fallout series has spawned different settings in the post-nuclear country, so there is no telling in which where the series will take place. The two most popular games in their franchise were Fallout 3 & Fallout 4 which take place in Washington D.C. & Boston.
