ASICS and Kiko Kostadinov are teaming up again for Autumn/Winter 24 with some exciting new sneaker drops! They’ve got two fresh models coming out this fall, and they’re taking their collaboration to the next level.
This new collection builds on the awesome design language we’ve seen so far, with a focus on new materials and colours. The inspiration comes from handcraft techniques like pottery, which you’ll see in the matte finishes and washed colour effects. They’ve drawn from Mino ceramics from Japan to create a cool, rust-like look that’s both unique and durable.
The theme for this drop is ‘Functional Utopia.’ The sneakers feature grid patterns and bold, opaque colours, with double-layered mesh and metallic accents that blend science and nature in a really striking way.
The Kiko Kostadinov x ASICS UB7-S GT-2160™ has a sleek, streamlined design that brings back the vibe of the GT-2000 series from the 2010s. It comes with the signature segmented midsole and GEL™ technology for great cushioning and support. On the other hand, the UB9-S GEL-KAYANO 20™ is all about advanced tech with ASICS FLUIDFIT™, giving it a cool ‘halo’ effect and top-notch responsiveness.
