ASICS SportStyle has announced Anna Sawai as its newest global ambassador, with the award winning actress fronting the brand’s Autumn Winter 2026 Sensory Bloom Collection. Celebrating movement, creativity and individuality, the collection continues ASICS‘ strong momentum in lifestyle releases while introducing fresh takes on archival silhouettes and a brand new model inspired by the brand’s heritage.
Best known for her recent award winning performances and growing list of Hollywood credits, Sawai brings a unique perspective to the campaign. Fluent in both English and Japanese, she represents the kind of global influence that ASICS has increasingly embraced in recent years. The campaign itself leans into her background as an actor, dancer and yoga practitioner, featuring a playful cinematic short where Sawai and her stunt double engage in a series of on set duels. At the centre of the Sensory Bloom Collection is the return of the GEL CUMULUS 16, one of ASICS‘ most underrated silhouettes from the mid 2010s. Originally released in 2014, the model has been reworked with glossy overlays, translucent mesh and marble inspired finishes that give the sneaker a contemporary edge. Joining the GEL CUMULUS 16 is the debut of the HYPERSYNC, one of the latest silhouette inspired by ASICS‘ archives.
