Since then alot has happened to our boy Jimi. Now his a father of two beautiful children, son Cairo and daughter Zaria to his beautiful partner Lana. It’s been a sharp learning curve for our boy to adjust with the family lifestyle. But his family tho has been the fuel for much more of his incredible YouTube videos and for this upcoming Australian tour, “Adulthood” with DJ Sir-Vere.

It’s More Than Just Sneakers Adelaide 2019 Recap

First stop of the “It’s More Than Just Sneakers” Australian Lifestyle Tour 2019 was Adelaide, the City of Churches. We’ve held our event in Adelaide for the third time and it keeps growing every year. We are so blessed to the amount of community support we receive when we hold our event in the city of Adelaide.

Here is some feedback from our friends about our event:

Anna Mindis @annabanana – “I thought the event this year was bigger than last year and there was always people walking around checking out all the vendors. The layout of the event was amazing and worked great for both vendors and the public. The music as always is everyone’s delight, venue supplied drinks and food which all together the day was really good.”

Kenny Ng @_mello.k – “There were some good deals on the day and the DJ’s were a nice touch. The bar really helps people to hang around with mates for a few beers.”

Anton Porter @antonporter – “I really enjoyed the day, it’s about getting the Adelaide street wear and sneaker community together. The venue is perfect, drinks and food available, city central easily accessible, what more can you want. Can’t wait until next year.”

Disney and FOX Merger Official. Deal Worth Over $71 Billion

It’s been over a year since rumors of Disney looking at acquiring 20th Century FOX. Finally the day has come to officially close the deal worth over $71 Billion to acquire one of the most influential entertainment houses to bring us so much enjoyment over the years.

Now Disney has a heavier arsenal to attach to the ever growing world of entertainment they already own. What does this mean for some of the major money makers for FOX such as Avatar, The Simpsons, Die Hard, Alien just to name a few. 

Will this mean reboots? The effects of the change may not be evident for years to come but a very exciting change to see what comes of it. 

What we are most excited about are the additions of the X-Men, Fantastic Four, and of course Deadpool back with its Marvel family. We have seen what Marvel entertainment and Disney have done so far but the sky’s the limit with what they can do with these great landmark additions.

Think about this for a second.

Disney now has Pixar, Marvel and Lucasfilm and with the addition of FOX. Let that sink in.

Overnight we saw the new trailer for the 3rd installment of the John Wick series entitled John Wick 3: Parabellum.

In this third installment of the adrenaline-fueled action franchise, super-assassin John Wick (Keanu Reeves) returns with a $14 million price tag on his head and an army of bounty-hunting killers on his trail. After killing a member of the shadowy international assassin’s guild, the High Table, John Wick is excommunicado, but the world’s most ruthless hit men and women await his every turn.

This past weekend ushered in Pac Heat 16 – Aotearoa’s longest running sneaker and lifestyle event.

Little Easy played host to the largest turnout to date, decimating all prior numbers for attendees, exhibitors, buyers, and sellers.

All ages and tastes were catered for within the sneaker community, and with the addition of vintage clothing, hype tings, and lifestyle collectibles added into the mix – demand was at a high and the cash exchange was flowing.

On feet flexing was at max level throughout the day with rare and hyped pairs being rocked which was super dope to see.

At wrap up there were ear to ear smiles by everyone who attended with the resonating question being asked as to when the next event was scheduled for?

Good times for all involved, and the wrap up of another successful event for the history books! If you missed out on this event – we’ll be doing it all again in August 2019.

Google Stadia, it’s the new gaming platform which will be a streaming service for video games. Google states it will revolutionize the gaming industry.

Google Stadia is like no other console we’ve seen. In fact, there won’t be a console. Instead, the user will utilise a proprietary Google Controller which connects to the Google servers which will feedback to the screens of your choosing whether it be a television, desktop, laptop, tablet or smart phone.

When Google Stadia launches it will be able to support 4K with 60fps with HDR and surround sound.
