The National Basketball Association (NBA) has officially announced its first-ever NBA House Australia, bringing an immersive basketball fan experience to Melbourne during the 2026 NBA Playoffs. The four-day event will run from May 14 to May 17 at The Timber Yard.

Moreover, two-time NBA All-Star Jaren Jackson Jr. and four-time NBA All-Star DeMarcus Cousins will headline the event, giving Australian fans a rare chance to connect with global basketball icons.

Operated by Seeker Agency, NBA House Australia will transform over 6,000 square meters into a high-energy hub of basketball and culture. Fans can enjoy interactive on-court activities, live music performances, and exclusive meet-and-greets. In addition, the event will feature a 3-on-3 celebrity game, streetwear showcases, and premium photo opportunities with the iconic Larry O’Brien Trophy.

Entertainment will continue throughout the weekend. Expect performances from international and local artists, plus appearances by Sacramento Kings mascot Slamson, the Kings Dancers, and the Kings dunk team.

“I’m excited to be part of the first NBA House in Australia,” said Jackson Jr. “Australian fans bring incredible energy, and I look forward to celebrating the NBA Playoffs with them.”

Similarly, Cousins shared his excitement: “Basketball has taken me around the world. Now, I’m grateful for the chance to visit Melbourne and experience the playoffs with passionate Aussie fans.”

Tickets for NBA House Australia are now available via Ticketmaster.

Notably, Cousins entered the league as the fifth overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft and earned multiple All-NBA honors. Meanwhile, Jackson Jr., the fourth overall pick in 2018, won the 2022–23 NBA Defensive Player of the Year and continues to dominate as one of the league’s elite defenders.

Following successful editions across Brazil, Canada, China, France, India, Mexico, the U.S., and the UK—and its debut in Japan—NBA House Australia marks another major step in the NBA’s global expansion.
