Japanese sneaker boutique atmos has done it again with another collab with adidas, releasing the all-new adidas Originals Forum 84 Low ‘Wheat.’ It’s another masterpiece with the classic model from adidas Originals; this time finished with nubuck leather. Since first appearing as a basketball shoe in the 1980’s, the Forum silhouette has gained immense popularity in the street scene. This new model pays homage to the original by keeping some of the designs used at the time of its debut. For example, the padded ankle straps and cross-shaped details on the sides are iconic symbols of the first Forum.
The sneakers are dressed in a deep wheat-coloured nubuck leather, which represents the autum and winter season. The gum sole and round straps give them an attractive new look, making them look like ‘sneaker boots.’
The sneakers are modelled by O-Menz, a mysterious masked dance group formed in May 2020 on Tiktok. Their quality dance performances, catchy choreography and masks gave them instant recognition. The group gained popularity due to this anonymity and novelty, and the number of followers increased in a blink of an eye. Their account now exceeds 700,000 followers. Although the identities of the dancers have never been revealed, there are members who have amazing accolades such as winning world championships.
