Did the New ASICS GEL-Quantum 360 I AMP Outshine the Collab? Let’s Find Out!
ASICS might have just done it. The latest GR release—the GEL-Quantum 360 I AMP in Piedmont Grey/Steel Grey—might actually beat out a recent collab. And that’s saying a lot.
ASICS has a track record of dropping GRs that rival their collaborative counterparts. This pair? No exception. It’s clean, refined, and built like a premium release.
Let’s talk details.

You’re getting a breathable, closed-knit upper in shades of light grey. Soft, supple suede wraps around the toe box, side panels, and heel, adding a luxe touch. No tiger stripes here—instead, a DNA-like striped design nods to ASICS heritage. Subtle silver accents hit the toe and heel, while reflective 3M shines on the upper heel.
But that’s not all.

Salmon-colored lace stays bring a bold pop. Matching oval grey laces keep things clean. Underfoot, the darker EVA midsole carries over the jacquard-style raised prints from the OGs. Cushioning comes from the full-length segmented 360 GEL and FFBlast plus foam—responsive, plush, and built for all-day wear.
There’s also a salmon-colored TPU Trusstic System for stability and energy return. Black high-abrasion rubber underneath ensures top-tier traction.
Another colorway—Oats—dropped alongside this one. But for me? This grey pair hits harder. It gives off strong nostalgic “Pigeon” vibes.

They fit true to size but run narrow. Wide footers, go half a size up.
