Such a dope colorway—and once again, ASICS delivers.

The ASICS UB13-S GEL-SD LYTE ‘Olive Grey / Rust Orange‘, designed in collaboration with Kiko Kostadinov Studios, pushes archival design into a bold, futuristic direction. This pair draws inspiration from sunset gradients and industrial sculptures, making it one of the most visually striking releases in the current three-pack. In my opinion, this is easily the best colorway of the trio.

First, the upper stands out immediately. The olive grey textured TPU shell creates a strong, structured base. Meanwhile, the metallic blue-to-red gradient mesh adds contrast and depth. As a result, the sneaker looks like it belongs in a Marvel-style superhero suit—bold, technical, and eye-catching.

In addition, ASICS keeps the signature details intact. The iconic toe guard gives the GEL-SD-LYTE its distinct identity. The split grey and orange laces add a subtle but effective pop. On top of that, the twisted tongue pull tab, a hallmark of Kiko Kostadinov collaborations, reinforces the design language.

When it comes to comfort, this pair performs. The combination of FLYTEFOAM PROPEL and GEL cushioning delivers a smooth and responsive ride. Therefore, it’s ideal for all-day wear, whether you’re styling fits or on the move.

At a retail price of $300 AUD, the sneaker sits in the premium lifestyle category. You can grab a pair now via ASICS. In terms of sizing, they fit true to size, although the eggshell-inspired TPU cage creates a slightly snug feel through the midfoot.

Overall, this release blends heritage design with modern innovation. If you’re into unique silhouettes and standout colorways, this is a must-have.
