PlayStation 5 Leakes Images

0

Its about that time again that Sony is going to upgrade to another console and with the leaked diagram posted, its getting Gamers hyped up again. With some special graphics skills the Console was able to be rendered and we can have a realistic view of how it will look like.

The main unit has a very distinguishable “V” on the fore front. People are saying that its a symbol in terms of the Roman Numerical number for 5. the top, sides and back are littered with air vents for a futurstic aesthetic. But with all the tech going inside it such as the 8K game graphics, 8-core AMD Ryzen Processor and SSD for shorter loading times this little beast will need all the air flow it can get.

Thats right, you have read that title correctly. The toy company behind the likes of Mr Potato Head, My Little Pony & Transformers have acquired one of the biggest gangster rap labels, Death Row Records.

Hasbro reportedly acquired Death Row’s discography with the $4 billion purchase of Entertainment One, a multimedia company that has its hands in TV, Film & Music.

eOne (Entertainment One) became Death Row’s parent company when it bought the label’s catalogue for approx $280 million back in 2013, which was about 7 years after Death Row declared bankruptcy.

With the eOne acquisition, Hasbro now owns popular kids brands like Peppa Pig & PJ Masks.

Sega’s Mega Drive Mini is Almost Here

0

The Mega Drive Mini is almost here and just like Nintendo and Sony before them, they’re ready to release their take on the Retro Mini Consoles.

Sega isn’t a stranger when it comes to releasing retro consoles. In fact, they’ve been releasing them well before the Nintendo and Sony first-party offerings. They were partnered with AT Games at the time and they weren’t good at all, plagued with bugs and a lack of decent game titles. This time round they’re partnering with M2 who are well known for their awesome ability in emulating and porting games.

Sega have been handing out review copies to the media, and the reviews look very promising. From the quality of the unit and the attention to detail to the original Mega Drive. The games run really well from what we’ve seen and the User Interface is done well. If there was anything to nit pick at, it would be the 3 button controllers which have been bundled in with the unit. While constructed well, it would have been nice to get the 6 button version for games such as Street Fighter II.

The Mega Drive Mini hits our shores on September 19th and retails for $139.95 and will come with 42 games which contains some of the best titles Sega could offer from the 16-bit generation.

Disney Plus Launch Date Details

0

After earlier details this year, Disney has finally confirmed that Disney + will be coming to Australia later this year.

Disney Plus, the entertainment giant’s rival to Netflix and Stan, will launch on November 12, and will be available in Australia and New Zealand on November 19. Australians will be able to stream the latest Star Wars, Marvel and Pixar movies, as well as a host of original content, for $8.99 a month (or $89 a year).

Disney content – including the Marvel pictures – had previously been available on Netflix, but that deal ended in Febuary

Original programs will be one of the big selling points of Disney Plus. As the company has already hinted, its Marvel original shows, for example, will be important to keep up with what gets played out on the big screen in cinemas.

Other original shows, such as the live-action, big-budget Star Wars spin-off The Mandalorian, will be available at the service’s launch. Customers will also have access to a vast library of Disney’s and Fox’s legacy content, as well as movies and documentaries.

Sony Breaks Up With Marvel on Spider-Man Movies

0

This news today is killing everyone who loves Spiderman. Sony and Marvel have fallen out over the rights and profits to Spiderman in the movies. The standoff between the 2 parties was reportedly over a reworking of the deal that would see Marvel Studios get a 50/50 co-financing stake in the upcoming Spiderman movies. The deal would have given Marvel Studios its stake in the Spiderman franchise while also bringing Sony’s extended universe of Spiderman movies such as Venom into the Marvel Cinematic Universe proper. Sony turned the offer down outright without so much as a counteroffer. Sony seems not to want to share what is its biggest film franchise. It instead preferred to keep the current arrangement intact, which sees Marvel Studios receiving an approximate 5% of each Spiderman movie’s first-dollar gross.

This is sad news as we know that there were at least 2 more Spiderman movies in the works with current director Jon Watts and Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spiderman. Let’s hope that they can work the differences out and get this back on track. Let us know what you think?
