To celebrate the 20th anniversary of WHIZ Limited, mita sneakers has joined forces with WHIZ Limited to create a special edition New Balance CM1700.
Back in April 2012, the CM1700 model was used for the first time by these three brands.
This three way collaboration model is constructed with an original color palette and blocking while fascinating the iconic details of the past collaborate models.
For the upper materials consisting of pigskin suede for excellent texture, nylon mesh that secures breath-ability and nu-buck with a high-class feel which are carefully arranged and updated with a reflector piping. A star shaped embroidery is placed on the heel, and laser edging is applied to the side panels.
Special details and features included are the “Glow in the Dark” specifications that attracts a completely different look. The extra laces have printed words “ZIHMITA”, which are the combination of both brand names WHIZ Limited and mita sneakers and the word “TOKYO” which where both brands are based in Japan.
In addition to WHIZ Limited and mita sneakers brand logos, the iconic “Chain Link Fence” design from mita sneakers was used for extra details for the insoles of the sneakers.
The WHIZ Limited x mita sneakers x New Balance CM1700 sneaker is set to launch on Monday, the 6th of July exclusively at mita sneakers and WHIZ Limited. Retail for ¥19,800 JPY.
