Next up in the fast moving world of JD Sports was the next Sydney store opening taking the tally of Sydney stores now to 10 with Stockland Merrylands now joining the JD Sports family.
Just in time for the Christmas rush, JD Sports Merrylands opened their doors for trading from 9am on Thursday 5th December with a restock on the Jordan Retro 12 “Reverse Taxi” and the hot Jordan Retro 1 “Shattered Backboard” Mid.
With not too many parts of Sydney left to fill, JD Sports has definitely found the right spot in Stockland Merrylands. Be sure to head down and check them out.
That’s right 007 fans, Daniel Craig is back for one last adventure as 007 in No Time To Die marking this the 25th James Bond movie in a franchise that spans over 57 years making it the longest running movie franchise of all time.
In the latest chapter, Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.
This one definitely looks worth the wait as the last Bond movie was released back in 2015.
No Time To Die is due to hit cinemas in April 2020

Now that we have had a few days to sit down and have a look through the awesome streaming service from Disney known as Disney+, we have come up with 10 must watch items from the service. Whether this be new content or old classics, we believe these are the 10 best things to watch. In no particular order of course!
The Simpsons
Who doesnt like The Simpsons? Seriously. Disney+ have put up 29 seasons of the longest running animation series and this is probably more then enough to binge on. We know that there are some seasons worth watching more then others. But is still a watch no matter what
The Mandalorian
The Mandalorian has become an instant classic only after 2 episodes. Without giving much away, we definately recommend this sci-fi western which is truly a breath of fresh air in the Star Wars universe. We are looking forward as to where this series will go
Who Framed Roger Rabbit
A 1988 classic movie from the mastermind behind the Back To The Future trilogy. Watching this has instantly brought back so many memories from being a kid. As for animation x live action movies go, this one is one of the best (not as good as Space Jam, but seriously close)
The World According to Jeff Goldblum
Its probably safe to say that Jeff Goldblum is one of the most wonderfully weird personalitites in hollywood right now. He does things outside the box and this series that National Geographic has given him is truly unique. The first episode in this series is right up our alley in relation to Sneakers. Its a must watch.
The Rocketeer
Another nostalgia movie that was an instant classic in the 90s. The Rocketeer follows the story of a stunt pilot who discovers a rocket powered jetpack and sets out to do good in the world of LA in the 1930s. He however finds himself on the run from the FBI and fighting Nazi’s.
The Mighty Ducks
If you were a kid in the 90s, you definately loved The Mighty Ducks. The sequels however werent as good as the original but you can re-live all of them over again on Disney+
Tron: Legacy
It’s to our belief that this slick, modern follow-up to the 80s cult hit never got the cultural recognition it deserved (in terms of box office profits they did just fine). What better way to pay it tribute then rewatching this high-concept action-adventure film? Starring Jeff Bridges, Olivia Wilde, and Garrett Hedlund, Tron: Legacy definately lives up to the hype.
Iron Man
Go back to where it all started for the Marvel Universe. Before all the insane crossovers and billion dollar team ups in which what started the Infinity Saga on its path to the deadly Thanos. Also was the movie that re-kick started Robert Downey Jnr’s career and turned him into one of the best actors on the planet today
Cool Runnings
Those crazy cats from Jamaica are on Disney+ showing what a dream of competing in the Winter Olympics can look like from a country that never sees snow. Another nostalgic movie worth a re-watch
Avengers: Endgame
The movie to end all movies in the Infinity Saga series. The highest grossing movie of all time is on the streaming service. Another must watch but be sure to set some time and watch the entire 22 Marvel movies in order if you can.
If you dont have Disney+, you can get it with a 7-day free trial through this link
Only 30 pairs will be released via a one-day raffle which begins on the 20th of November 2019 at 1PM EST. You can enter the raffle for free by purchasing a Staple x SBTG tee at the staplepigeon.com.
The next trend in smartphones appears to be heading down the Foldable path now with Samsung already on the market with the phone and now Motorola have joined the race and resurrected a classic phone and its probably the Razr version we have always wanted.
The 2019 Razr is due to arrive in January 2020 with a 6.2 inch foldable plastic OLED screen and running Android 9 Pie.
This version of the Razr is a true heir to the original flip phone with a design that’s heavily inspired by its 2004 version.
The core of the phone is, of course, the display. It’s a 6.2-inch 21:9 plastic OLED panel that folds in half along the horizontal axis. Unfolded, it’s not dramatically bigger than any other modern phone, and the extra height is something that the Android interface and apps adapt to far better than a tablet-size screen. The screen does have a notch on top for a speaker and camera and a curved edge on the bottom, which takes a bit of getting used to, but after a minute or two, you barely notice it. There’s also a second, 2.7-inch glass-covered OLED display on the outside that Motorola calls the Quick View display. It can show notifications, music controls, and even a selfie camera mode to take advantage of the better main camera. Motorola is also working with Google to let apps seamlessly transition from the front display to the main one.
Let us know what you think about this phone? Can this be the lifeline Motorola needs to bring it into the smartphone market?
