New Balance has gone back into the mindset of a runner and designer 30 or so years ago and created a whole new subtle beast in the 327.
Paying Homage
With the plan of being in the mindset of designers back in 1970s. The UK New Balance team took on the role of designers of the 320 back then to create the new modern 327 now. The NB team restricted themselves to only use materials available back during this time period to create the upper. Though New Balance is know for its muted tones and colours, the 327 has been given the green light to be expressed in multiple vivd colours. They also kept in mind how the runner’s mindset was previously. This is how they were able to pay homage to the 320 Classic.
What People love about the 327
The unique design of the 327 has been growing on people’s tastes as of late. Perhaps its the “Waffle outsole” that extends past the heel counter that everyone loves. Maybe it could aged but modernized materials used on its sleek designed uppper, which is actually perfect for driving. It could be the reasonable price of $150 AUD or maybe it can just be the undeniably large “N” logo that draws on papeople’s palete. The list goes on.
But what is certain is that ever since the New Balance 327’s first realase this year different colourways and collaborations have been selling out almost instantly. Sold out not just for Men but also for the Women’s silouettes.
