Hailing from Jakarta, Indonesia, RIGIO is a fashion label which finds its inspiration in fashion from the 80’s, 90’s and trends from today. Military culture is another one of RIGIO’s inspirations, and they were thrilled to have the opportunity to do a collaboration with Parabellum Tactical Gear, which has served the Indonesian Armed Forces since 2013.

The SP-TracX silhouette showcases how contemporary urban culture and tactical military brands can create something versatile. Inspired by both the army spirit and street culture, the sneakers combine Parabellum craftsmanship and RIGIO innovation with a timeless style that has redefined streetwear.

The Nice Kicks x ASICS “Nice Cream” collaboration will satisfy your sweet tooth and cravings for new sneakers with this new ice cream inspired ASICS GEL-LYTE™ III OG sneaker.

Judging by the looks of its gelato inspired colour palette, Nice Kicks and ASICS drew inspiration from Spumoni — a tri-flavoured ice cream that tends to bear nuts and candied fruit.

An “Ivory” hue dresses up the foundational layers of the base which alternate between leather toe boxes and mesh quarters, as well as the tiger stripes and shaggy suede overlays.

Chocolate brown accents are embedded into the interior lining, heightened heel overlays and lower rear moulds and the shoe strings contrast with a minty green. On the back end, a tonal Nice Kicks logo is embossed and comes surrounded by a strawberry pink highlight. Speckled wallpaper is found towards the middle of the midsoles and the treading features a three-panel aesthetic that mimics the aesthetic of the aforementioned dessert.

The Nice Kicks x ASICS GEL-LYTE™ III OG “Nice Cream” collaboration will be available at ASICS.COM, Above The Clouds, Up There, Laced, Sneakerboy and Subtype on Saturday, 31st of July 2021.

Marvel Studio’s Hawkeye First Look & Release Date

0

What a 6 months it has been for Marvel Studios & Disney+. They have had 3 massive hit series with WandaVision, Falcon & The Winter Solider and Loki. Next up we have What If…? which is set to hit screens in the coming weeks. But whats after that? Well we can now get excited for the next one with Hawkeye finally getting a release date and a first look.

Fans have been wondering when we would get a first look at Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye series and now we have a sneak peek. Disney+ have confirmed Hawkeye will premiere on Wednesday November 24th 2021. Yes we have to wait a few months for this one, but there is a stack of Marvel content before then we can look forward too.

Enteraintment Weekly release a photo of Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner) with Hailee Steinfield’s character Kate Bishop in what looks like a training area/gym. As to when this series takes place in the MCU is still unknown. Will it take place during the “blip” or after? We know the post credit scene of Black Widow ties into this series so it could be after the events of Avengers: Endgame.

For those who dont know who Kate Bishop is in the MCU, here is a quick recap. Kate Bishop first emerged in the 2000s in the pages of Young Avengers comics. At the time of her first appearances, Clint was dead and she took up the Hawkeye mantle in his honor. We know Kevin Fergie has a good way of taking what we know in the comics and giving it the MCU twist, so it will be very interesting to see where this goes.

So is this one series you’re looking forward to Marvel fans? Let us know

Three years in the making to turn this idea of a sustainable sneaker within a timeless silhouette, into reality. The Yamasura is designed in Germany and handcrafted by Tofel in Felgueiras, Portugal. Im sure the 80s kids will remember the original He-Man Masters of the Universe as it was apart of their childhood growing up. Now that we are adults, im sure most of us who grew up with the original one are now looking forward to this one.

Masters of the Universe: Revelation is a sequel to the original 1983-1985 series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. The series has been developed filmaker, actor and pop culture guru Kevin Smith (no relation!) for Netflix.

Revelation is a direct sequel to the original series Masters of the Universe. Featuring He-Man, Orko, Cringer, and Man-At-Arms, the story features them as guardians of Castle Grayskull in a battle against Skeletor, Evil-Lyn, Beast-Man and the legions of Snake Mountain. Her journey will uncover the secrets of Grayskull at last.

Kevin Smith has recruited some amazing talent to voice the characters including Chris Wood (Supergirl), Mark Hamill (Star Wars), Sarah Michelle Geller (Buffy The Vampire Slayer), Alicia Silverstone (Clueless), Jason Mewes (Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back) and many more.

Marvel’s What If…? Official Trailer

0

So where to for Marvel now? The Loki Season finale was something that changed the Marvel Cinematic Universe forever. We need to start calling it the Marvel Cinematic Multiverse moving forward i think.

The next series to hit Disney+ is Marvel’s What If…? Now Marvel have taken a different avenue with this one. This isnt a normal series. This is an animated anthology series which has been created by A.C. Bradley for Disney+ based on the Marvel Comics series of the same name.

Marvel's What If...?

The series will explore what would happen if major moments from the films of the MCU has occured differently. A true Multiverse. Jeffrey Wright (Angels in America, Broadwalk Empire, Casino Royale) stars as The Watcher, who will narrate the series. Given this is an animated series, many of the original actors who stared in the MCU will come back to voice their characters. Unfortunately a few of the main stars will not be voicing their characters (Iron Man, Captain America, The Collector, Doctor Strange & Captain Marvel are amoung the few!)

Marvel's What If...?

Marvel’s What If…? hits Disney+ on August 11 and will run for 10 weeks (1 episode per week) concluding on October 13. It will also be apart of Phase Four for the MCU. A 10 episode second season has been given the green light and is currently in development.

Let us know know if you’re looking forward to this one? What variants do you want to see in this compared to the original?

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings Official Trailer

0

Feels like forever since we had a Marvel movie at the movies. Last week Black Widow hit the cinemas and Disney Plus (with Premier Access) and now Marvel is full steam ahead in 2021.

The next movie coming up in the MCU is Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Officially announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings began production in early 2020. But not long after it kicked-off filming in Australia, production had to be halted due to the threat of the coronavirus pandemic. It eventually restarted filming and quietly finished back in October 2020 with impressively no single positive case of the virus.

While the synopsis of the movie hasnt been revealed yet or as to when its actual set in the MCU, the trailer does giveaway a few things. Shang-Chi, the master of unarmed weaponry based Kung Fu, is forced to confront his past after being drawn into the Ten Rings organisation. The 10 Rings organization was referenced as early as 2008’s Iron Man. Plus, Iron Man 3 teased the introduction of the Mandarin, only to reveal he was an imposter. Now, with the Abomination (and maybe Wong!) showing up in the new look, there’s a chance that Shang-Chi will connect to Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness and/or She-Hulk. You can bet we’ll have some answers when Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings hits theaters on September 3, 2021.

Let us know what you think and if you are looking forward to seeing this one when it hits the cinemas.

Tag Heuer Connected x Super Mario Collaboration

0

That pesky video game plumber is back, but this time around he has teamed up with Tag Heuer for a collaboration that is somewhat expensive, yet super cool! And because why not

Tag Heuer just dropped their collabration watch with Nintendo based around Super Mario with their Connected smartwatch series. It became available yesterday (15th July) for $3100AUD ($2150USD), which is in line with how much the Connected series has cost in the past. One of the highlights here, though, is the company’s use of Mario’s appearances to encourage wearers to get active and reward them when they move.

According to Tag Heuer, Mario’s “upbeat and active personality will encourage wearers of this smartwatch to enjoy moving too.” But it’s not just about being inspired by simply seeing his face on your wrist. The watch’s dial will become “livelier and more animated the more the wearer is active.” There’s also a “gamification rewards system” at play. Mario will greet you with a salute each morning, and as you move about, you’ll get different animations as you hit 25, 50, 75 and 100 percent of your steps target. These animations feature familiar items from the Mario universe, like the Super Mushroom, Pipe, Super Star and Goal Pole. The company says this idea was inspired by the notion of “easter eggs,” so I suppose you’re supposed to treat these animations as such.

The Super Mario version of Connected has a 45mm face and weighs 86 grams (0.18 pounds) with a rubber strap. It’s water resistant up to 5ATM, and Tag Heuer promises its 430mAh battery can last a full day.

Tag Heuer is only making 2,000 of these watches, which will be available in selected boutiques and at its website in some regions around the world.

Let us know what you think of this cool collaboration? Will this be something you will try and cop?
