Our fury little hedgehog is back thanks to Paramount Pictures, and this time with some new friends and new enemies!
As you would expect, the sequel takes place after the events of the first movie and picks up with Sonic alone in the Green Hills while Tom and Maddie Wachowski are on vacation. This is all interrupted by the return of Doctor Eggman, who is back to find the Master Emerald with the help of Knuckles the Echidna, who wasn’t in the first movie. Who also wasn’t in the first movie is Miles “Tails” Prower, who joins Sonic to thwart Doctor Eggman and Knuckle’s plans.
Sonic The Hedgehog was one of the surprise hits of 2020 at the box office making it one of the highest grossing video game movies of all time. The sequel was announced back in May 2020, only a couple of months after the inital release, however since then, we have seen nothing about the movie, until now…

ASICS is pleased to announce the launch of the Awake NY x ASICS GEL-KAYANO® TRAINER 21, collaboration inspired by the vibrancy of Miami. For Awake NY Founder and Creative Director Angelo Baque, Miami has always served as an oasis – a quick flight from New York City, the beach backdrop consistently offered Baque solace from the grind of the concrete jungle.
The GEL-KAYANO® TRAINER 21 shoe combines archived aesthetics with performance capability. Inspired by the heritage of the GEL-KAYANO® TRAINER, this hybrid version preserves the MONO-SOCK™ design from the 90s running shoe and also incorporates the same tooling from 2014’s GEL-KAYANO® 21 shoe, featuring GEL® technology cushioning in the heel and forefoot to evolve the retro runner with performance functionality.
The design of the Awake NY x ASICS GEL-KAYANO® TRAINER 21 was inspired by the vibrancy of Miami. The sneakers teal colourway is a direct nod to the lively hues seen in Miami architecture, while the grey/silver colourway serves as a neutral option for everyday wear.
Out of the blue, Warner Bros have dropped a 2nd look at the upcoming “The Matrix Resurrections” movie which is set to hit Australian cinemas on Boxing Day, and the new trailer is more mysterious then ever! Wasnt that long ago, we got a first look at the upcoming movie
The new trailer’s action bounces between the digital world of the Matrix and the post-apocalyptic world outside of it, intermixed with clips from the first three Matrix movies. And while it’s not very clear what’s actually going on, it seems that a main focus of the film will be Neo working to reunite with Trinity (Carrie-Anne Moss) — something that will presumably be difficult, given that both characters appeared to die at the end of 2003’s The Matrix Revolutions.
In an interesting juxtaposition to the Revolutions’ finale, this brink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment from the “Deja Vu” trailer seemingly confirms the continuation of The Matrix Online’s lore. So what does that mean?
Well, the ceasefire/treaty brokered by Neo and depicted in The Matrix Online allows the following:
Red Pills (humans) can free the minds of those looking to leave the simulation, with no interference from machines.
Agents are put into place to safeguard the simulation from potential destabilization.
Zion remains unharmed by the Machines, as do any human-controlled hovercraft ships
But what does this mean for the narrative of MatrixResurrections? Rumors of Neo’s survival were spread by a Morpheus Simulacrum (a digitized version of Morpheus, created by The General, a rogue Sentinel who refused to recognize the treaty). Urging all humans to believe Neo could be freed from machine captivity, he also foretold of a second conflict. Humans would need to prepare for the chaos to arrive.
Could the new “Morpheus” be a warning signal from The General? If so, we do know the real-world manifestation of Neo will be rescued by a new crew. Perhaps this is a crew headed up by Niobe, and if it is, Neo’s reinsertion to the simulation willingly sparks even more curiosity. It’ll be interesting to see how Neo’s reappearance affects civilization among the Zionites.
What do you think of the new trailer? This one has me excited to see whats in store.
The Matrix Resurrections is out in Australia on the 26th December 2021
While we get excited for the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home movie due to hit the movies in a couple of weeks, Sony Pictures Animation dropped something very special for us, not only did we get a sneak peek into the upcoming spiderman animation film, but we also got confirmation there is a 3rd one on the way in this series.
A followup to the 2018 smash hit “Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse”, Miles Morales is back with the other web slingers to this time go across the spider-verse.
In this first look from Sony Pictures Animation, it picks up from where Into the Spider-Verse ended with Miles relaxing in bed listening to the Post Malone smash hit “Sunflower”. Spider-Gwen pops in for another visit from an alternate dimension and then off they go between different cities and portals which showcases the eye popping animation style we fell in love with.
Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) and Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld) in Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation’s SPIDER-MAN™: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE (PART ONE).
At the end of the teaser it shows this is Part One of a storyline which is spand over another movie which is due to hit cinemas in 2023. This was confirmed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller after they explained to Entertainment Weekly that the storyline had too much to fit into 1 movie, so why not spread it across two moveis.
Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson are directing Across the Spider-Verse, taking over from original directors Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey, and Rodney Rothman. Lord and Miller wrote the script with Dave Callaham (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings).
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One) is due to hit cinemas in October 2022.
For now, enjoy the first look and left us know what you think

KangaROOS unveils the third collaborative silhouette as part of its ‘Traditions Pack.’ After ‘Denim‘ and ‘Kord,’ ‘Tweed‘ now joins the collection. Based on the high-end KangaROOS Coil R2 model, this sneaker was designed with the Harris Tweed Authority.
The Harris Tweed Act created the Harris Tweed Authority in 1993, which is an independent statutory public body. It replaced the Harris Tweed Association founded in 1909. The role of the Authority is to protect and promote the Harris Tweed® brand worldwide, its authenticity, standard and world-renowned reputation.
By law, Harris Tweed fabric must be: “Handwoven by the islanders in their own homes in the Outer Hebrides, finished in the Outer Hebrides and made from pure new wool dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides (the Isles of Lewis, Harris, Uist and Barra).“
Because they share the same values and love for the same beautiful materials, craftsmanship and attention to detail, KangaROOS and the Harris Tweed Authority naturally partnered to develop a collaborative Coil R2. And of course, the renowned premium sneaker factory Hummel und Hummel in Germany will manufacture them.
This Made in Germany sneaker is a combination of tweed and suede. It features a green, brown, beige, and grey colour palette. The base, in two shades of green tweed, complements the honey-brown suede overlays at the front. Beige with touches of pearl grey are on the back. To symbolise the collab, the hammer and chisel logo is embroidered in lime green on the heel. The tongue tag also features the co-branding. The sneaker sits on a white midsole with DYNACOIL cushioning and a gumsole.
The Harris Tweed Authority x KangaROOS Coil R2 ‘Tweed,’ which is part of the ‘Traditions Pack,’ will be on sale on the 4th of December online at KangaROOS and at the following selected retailers : 43einhalb / Acribik / AFEW / Allike / Alte Schule / Asphaltgold / Bijsmaak / Chmielna 20 / Egotrips / Footshop / Gloryhole / Hanon / HHV / Lace Up / Mainsource / Outback / Overkill / Schrittmacher / SneakAvenue / Sneakerbaas / Sneakerstudio / Steffl 6th Floor / Street / Suppa.

Rather than doing our usual sneaker review for these bad boys, we’ll let these amazing and talented Aussie sneaker enthusiasts tell us how they exactly feel about the Footlocker Exclusive: Under Armour HOVR Phantom 2 IntelliKnit.
The build quality on the Under Armour HOVR Phantom 2 IntelliKnit is second to none. Great lifestyle and performance sneaker, most importantly it’s so damn comfy in my opinion.
The UA HOVR Phantom 2’s are perfect for people who live an active lifestyle, short to medium runs, and for everyday wear. I was looking for lightweight comfortable running shoes suitable for spending lots of time on the go, and these tick all the boxes. The Danger pack is exclusive to Footlocker and on top of this it’s an awesome looking shoe. The HOVR sole provides great foot support and cushioning underfoot. The Intelliknit upper is stretchy, breathable, and is super easy to slide on and off. I’d highly recommend this pair for your next pair of running shoes!
The Under Armour HOVR Phantom 2 – has been one of the best experiences for my foot! As soon as I slid this bad boys on I was in amazed of how supportive intelliknit upper was and the feeling of HOVR under foot — the more I wore the sneaker the better it felt on foot. These are going to be a go to kick for any time I know I need to spend a long time in my feet but still want to keep a fresh and head turning sneaker on foot.
Not only is it a performance sneaker, it’s also lifestyle kicks. With responsive cushioning and breathable IntelliKnit upper, I’ll rock this in the gym and on the streets because it feels and looks amazing.
The Under Armour HOVR Phantom 2 IntelliKnit are so comfortable, I use them for running and gym. It’s so amazing! The colour way and material is so dope well!
The Under Armour HOVR Phantom 2’s have been my daily shoe for the past few weeks now. I’ve found the midsole has a great balance of cushion and stability. The IntelliKnit upper gives a snug sock like fit while maintaining breathability. So rocking these for 8 plus hours a day has been a breeze. Plus it’s an easy choice when that black and red colourway just hits!
I’ve been a huge fan of the HOVR cushioning tech since the first series of the Under Armour Phantom. Under Armour has found a way to give us the right amount of stability and responsiveness in a performance sneaker. The IntelliKnit uppers after some time feels like you are wearing nothing. Also, this particular Footlocker exclusive colourway is in my opinion is the best one yet. It’s dope enough to transition from a training shoe to a lifestyle kicks.

“How do you tell someone that you’re Spider-Man? Now everyone knows!” Thanks to Mysterio at the end of Far From Home, the world knows who Spider-man is and he wants to make people forget that he is.
Unmasked and unable to separate his normal life from his responsibilities as a superhero, Peter asks Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to make the world forget he’s Spider-Man. When the sorcerer casts a dangerous spell that tampers with the stability of spacetime — and the Multiverse — Strange warns: “Be careful what you wish for, Parker.”
The third film in the trilogy from Sony Pictures and co-producers Marvel Studios, No Way Home takes a swing through the Spider-Verse when Multiversal villains vanquished by the Spider-Men of other universes (Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield) make their way into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With the stakes higher and more dangerous than ever before, Spider-Man will face sinister supervillains Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina), Electro (Jamie Foxx), Sandman (Thomas Haden Church), Lizard (Rhys Ifans), and the Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe).
The second trailer to Spider-Man: No WayHome has arrived, and fans simply can’t get enough. The extended clip features the return of characters like Green Goblin and Electro—and it even shows off some of Spidey’s new suits. With Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) serving as a supporting character in the film, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) is gifted an “Integrated Suit,” one that looks like the Iron Spider suit he’s worn since Avengers: Infinity War. One major change, however, is that it apparently has some of Strange’s magic embedded in it somehow.
Spider-Man: No Way Home hits cinemas on December 16th here in Australia, so only 1 more month of waiting spidey fans!
