The opening lines pretty much say it all for this new track from Lee Monro, “No more gangsta shit, lemme chill it out for a bit”.
After 2019, Lee had alot to get off his chest. He took some time out to reflect on what is important to him, which is his family. Being the family man that he is, this got him through real tough times.
This new track is all about educating people rather than reiterating. Music track is available on Spotify and the Video Clip on YouTube.

To some people, ‘breakdancing’ might be thought of as past time or something younger kids participate in, but actually the Breakin’ community is still very alive, even in the local Sydney community with a wide array of people of all ages. Ryugi, organised by local bboy Hideboo, is an ongoing series of breakin’ events which aims to connect and help grow the Sydney scene. In the most recent event in the series, Ryugi has collaborated with internationally recognized Found Nation crew where the winner would have the opportunity to battle in Japan against some of the worlds best as a seeded guest battler.
The event saw many dancers of all ages come through, with over 100 participants battling in the 1v1 Breakin’ battles and 1v1 Top Rock battles as well as the constant cyphers going on throughout the day. By the end of it all, Bboy O’Shan (QLD |RAW crew) took out the 1v1 Top Rock battles and Bboy Harry (NSW | Juse Crew, Hybrid Formz) taking the W in the 1v1 Breakin’ battles.
The Kickz Stand has been a proud partner and sponsor of the event, helping hook up the winner with fresh gear. Check below for some snaps of what went down and check out Ryugi 〜流儀〜 over on Facebook for more.
G-SHOCK Singapore has conceptualised and embarked on a new campaign titled “Future Legends” as part of the launch of the new metal-forged GM-6900 series that is based on the cultural icon, the DW-6900 watch. This year also marks the 25th anniversary of this definitively legendary watch model.

The “Future Legends” campaign is about the people of tomorrow. People who shape our future, people who are still hustling through their daily grind, regardless of gender, race, and age. They are the next chapter and if luck permits, will be immortalised in our books; making history as Legends in time to come.
This campaign celebrates these catalysts of change from the domains of hip hop music and high-street fashion, as a tribute to these spheres’ deep affiliation with the birth of the original DW-6900 in the 1990s.
As part of the campaign, established names in the music and fashion industries will work together with new talents—also known as future legends—to leave a positive mark in the history books.

“This shot was taken after I was inspired by another shooter that did something similar. I used it as way to show light through this darkness since the tragedy of the 9 that lost their lives. His legacy will live on and that’s what the white light represents.
This is my favourite pair of Kobe’s and finally got hold of them recently, the Kobe XI Elite Mid Black/Gum. I am a fan of bright and colourful sneakers but this pair for some reason drew me in. I love the snakeskin look, the gumsole of course and I really love the chrome accents.
I’m a Celtic fan so Kobe was my enemy. I never cheered for him until he played for USA but the man had the respect of Celtic Nation displayed no more clearly than when Bill Russell came into Staples in a Kobe jersey. The Mamba’s impact breaks through one of the biggest rivalries in all of sports. Rest easy Mamba….CelticNation misses you.”
